Leadership Duties:

President
(1) Provide leadership to the group by planning and organizing monthly meetings. (This doens't mean doing all the demos. For example, it means finding people to do the demos, as Ron did).
(2) Review and approve reports and financial statements from other officers.
(3) Approve group operational procedures, policies, and standards.
(4) Bring reports to monthly meetings in case group members have questions or  they want to see the reports.
(5) If planning to be absent for a meeting, contact the VP to take over duties.

Vice President
The VP should be current with the club's activities in the event the President is absent. The VP stays current by:
(1) Coordinating with the President to stay abreast of all planning and organizing for monthly meetings.
(2) Having access to all reports and financial statements from other officers.

Secretary
(1) Send out meeting notices via e-mail.
(2) Take attendance and minutes for all meetings. (The minutes would be as simple as recording what was demonstrated and who did the demonstration).
(3) Make sure each member's information (name and e-mail address) is current.
(4) Send monthly electronic reports (attendance, minutes, updated member's information) to the President and Vice President.
(5) Bring reports to monthly meetings in case group members have questions or they want to see the reports.
(6) If planning to be absent for a meeting, contact another officer to take over duties.

Treasurer
(1) Managing incoming and outgoing monies from the checking account.
(2) Send a monthly electronic report to the President and Vice President.
(3) If planning to be absent for a meeting, contact another officer to take over duties.

Public Relations
(1) Prepare and supervise the production of publicity material such as brochures, business cards, etc.
(2) Promote the group via the media such as radio interviews, free local TV access, writing articles, etc.
(3) Answer inquiries from individuals who are interested in joining the group.
(4) Send a monthly electronic report to the President and Vice President.

Group Ambassador
(1) Serves as a liaison to the local and regional User Group.
